Professor Lori J. Brown
Professor Lori J. Brown, FRAeS is the ICAO Next Generation of Aviation Professionals Outreach programme (NGAP) Chair, a member of the International Aviation Pilot Association (IPTA),an Associate Professor at Western Michigan University, College of Aviation and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society. She is an Airline Transport Pilot and has trained Ab-initio cadet pilots for British Airways, KLM, and UAE, as well as pilots for national and international government agencies. She evaluates US military aviation training and occupations for the American Council on Education (ACE) and is a researcher for the FAA Partnership to Enhance Aviation Safety, Accessibility and Sustainability (PEGASAS), Center of Excellence. Her work seeks to enhance aviation safety, accessibility, and sustainability by partnering with world-class researchers, educators and industry leaders. She has been affiliated with aerospace, since 1988 and is committed to ensuring that enough qualified and competent aviation professionals are available to operate, manage and maintain the future international air transport system. She has numerous research grants, publications and international presentations in these areas.
